House Decor

We passed by a small furniture store near downtown Boise, just to look around, and we end up leaving with this! We love it! It is our first "big" purchase for our new house. It fits perfect right in our entry.

I have yet to organize what will actually go on and inside it, so it holds random things right now. One thing that I know will be staying is our unity sand. It has traveled all over with us since our wedding. I think it is as happy as us to finally stay put for a while. To refresh your memory here is what it represents as spoken during our wedding:

"This relationship is also symbolized through the pouring of two individual containers of sand. One, representing you, Kristin, and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be, and the other representing you, Scott and all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be. As these two containers of sand are poured into the third container, the individual containers of sand will no longer exist, but will be joined together as one. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into the individual containers, so will your marriage be."
